Tribal Listening Sessions on Changes to the Department of the Interior

On March 13, 2017, Donald Trump issued an executive order to reorganize the Executive Branch of the U.S. Government, including the Department of the Interior.  Acting Assistant Secretary for Indian Affairs, Michael S. Black, has invited Tribal leaders to attend one of the listening sessions to provide input on improving “efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability” at the Department of the Interior and to offer suggestions on how "to help streamline services to tribes and better fulfill the Federal Government's trust and treaty obligations."
