Daniel A. Bihrle - Attorney
Danny joined the Jacobson Law Group in 2020 after serving as law clerk for Justice Laurance B. VanMeter of the Kentucky Supreme Court for two years.
While in law school, Danny represented a criminal defendant on direct appeal in the Sixth Circuit as a member of University of Tennessee Appellate Litigation Clinic from initial briefing through oral argument. His work on that case won him the 2018 Clinical Legal Education Association Outstanding Student Award. During law school, Danny clerked in the Office of General Counsel at Tennessee Valley Authority, the nation’s largest public power company. He also interned with Frederickson & Byron and the National Parks Conservation Association.
Danny was awarded Order of the Coif and The Order of Barristers at UT. He served as the executive editor of the Tennessee Law Review, managing editor of the Tennessee Journal of Race, Gender and Social Justice, and competed on UT’s National Environmental Law Moot Court Team that won the Ogden & Sullivan Best Moot Court Team Brief in 2018.
When not practicing law, Danny enjoys following Minnesota and Tennessee sports, homebrewing, disc golfing, trail running, and camping with his wife, Machen.
